About the positionWe are looking for an industrial electrician for our client Ovako in Smedjebacken. Here you will have the opportunity to work in a stimulating industrial environment alongside a competent team characterized by good community and collaboration. As an industrial electrician, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks, from urgent repairs to preventive maintenance. The role requires a structured approach using work orders and governing documents. The position is a direct employment with Ovako.

Responsibilities

• Work with troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of electrical systems and control systems.
• Perform both urgent repairs and preventive maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Work according to work orders and governing documents, with a structured approach.
• Document completed work according to applicable instructions and routines.
• Contribute to a safe and efficient production by supporting and collaborating with your colleagues.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school education in electrical engineering
• Experience as an industrial electrician
• B driver's license
• Knowledge of Swedish and basic English

Meritorious

• Electrical safety training - Theory and practice
• Experience with overhead crane and forklift operation
• Hot work certificate
